Who We Are
Our Hackensack Meridian Health Journey
In October of 2014, we embarked on a journey to transform health care and be recognized as a leader of positive change. We knew that coming together would allow us to create a better world, one where the highest quality care is human-centered, accessible and affordable.
In July of 2016, we took the next step to make that vision a reality, officially becoming Hackensack Meridian Health.
Today, we stand as one of the largest, most comprehensive networks in New Jersey, combining academics and research with an extensive continuum of care. We are renowned for our world-class quality, respected for our expert physicians, and admired for our commitment to our communities.
Because of our coming together, the residents of New Jersey now have access to 16 hospitals and 450 patient care locations and physician offices.
It’s been an incredible journey and we’ve come a long way, but we’re not done, yet.
This transformation isn’t just about providing better care to our patients – it’s about creating a better place to work for you – our team members. Just like providing the highest quality care requires continuous improvement, maintaining a rewarding work environment will be an ongoing journey for years to come.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
Transform health care and be recognized as the leader of positive change.
Innovation is in our DNA, compelling us to create a world where: the highest quality care is human-centered, accessible and affordable; we deliver outcomes that matter most; and excellence is the standard.
